Why it matters
Many people face barriers to accessing wellbeing and mental health support, including isolation, cultural barriers, lack of confidence or limited awareness of available services.
Getting Help in the Neighbourhood helps address these challenges by providing accessible, community-based activities and trusted spaces where people can connect, improve their wellbeing and access support closer to home.
Through continued NHS partnership support, the project has helped create stronger community connections, encourage healthier lifestyles and improve access to culturally sensitive wellbeing support across Leicester.
